How far are the properties from the nearest beach?
- All apartments are located a few meters from the Fondachello-Santanna beach
Check-in and Check-out / Times and Procedures
- Upon booking, the Guest will receive an email with a link. Check-in requires the Guest to submit the required information and copies of the identity documents of all guests included in the reservation, which are required for reporting to the State Police (as required by Italian law).
- Two days before arrival, the Guest will receive another email reminding them to check in.
- The day before arrival (and only after checking in), the Guest will receive an email with all the information and codes to access the booked property independently, only after 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out must be done by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Guests are asked to leave the keys on the kitchen table and lock the door. Respecting the check-in and check-out times will ensure adequate cleaning of the apartment. Arrival time may be brought forward and departure time delayed only in exceptional circumstances for your convenience, in agreement with the owner and only if the apartment is available.

The apartment is clean and ideally located if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with days at the beach. It has everything you need to prepare your own meals. The host was always available, friendly, and responsive, as was the staff. We flew to Mascali from Catania Airport, and a staff member picked us up at the train station and took us directly to the apartment.

Our six apartments are located in a prime spot along the beautiful Fondachello di Mascali coastline, just steps from the sea and perfectly connected to eastern Sicily's most important tourist destinations. In just a few hours—or even less than an hour—you can reach some of the island's most fascinating destinations: Taormina and its enchanting Greek theater are just a 30-minute drive away; Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, can be reached in about 45 minutes for a unique experience among craters and breathtaking views; Catania, a vibrant baroque city rich in history and culture, is just 35 minutes away; Syracuse and the archaeological area of Ortigia can be visited in under 1.5 hours; and the Alcantara Gorges, a natural wonder carved by lava, are just 25 minutes away. This location makes our apartments the perfect starting point for those who want to explore Sicily without sacrificing the convenience of a seaside stay.
